Webinar: Using the Framework for Embedding Employability

Stuart has over 20 years’ experience within higher education with extensive experience in designing and developing strategic, institutional-wide change. In his role as Head of Educational Excellence at Advance HE, he focuses on both thought leadership and providing evidence-based solutions to support institutions, educators and students.

Dr. Nabil EL KADHI H has almost 30 years of experience in the academe, and more than 15 years of experience in the management of higher education institutions with an exposure to European and Middle East and North Africa academic systems. He started his professional career in the early 90s; assumed positions ranging from Project Manager and Department Head to Lab Director, Master Programs Director, Dean, Provost, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Vice Chancellor and President where he remarkably contributed to institutional excellence, and several applied research and industrial projects related mainly  to Data  and Cloud Security and Privacy, Smart Cities and Internet of Things, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, Secure Payment, Smart Card Use and various Cloud – based applications.

Bev Herring is a leading advocate for employability integration across higher education, holding key roles in national and sector-wide initiatives. As Co-Chair of the All-Wales Employability Community of Practice, alongside Prof Fay Short, Bev collaborates with Medr and Advance HE to drive shared learning and best practices among institutions at sector-wide level.

Bridie is the ATU Career and Learning Pathways Manager (HCI HigherEd 4.0 Project) managing the establishment of MyCareerPath a Regional Service for Careers and Learning Pathways, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for people in the workplace.

Maura is a qualified Guidance Counsellor and one of the Career and Learning Pathways Advisors with MyCareerPath. With over 25 years of experience as a career practitioner, she has worked with a diverse range of clients, including early school leavers, students, graduates, adult learners, and professionals.

Briana manages the University of Galway Employability Award, which empowers students to recognise and develop key employability skills, prepare for the professional workplace and stand out to employers. Through workshops, employer-led skills sessions, and career-focused activities, the programme builds students’ self-awareness, confidence and career-readiness.   

Professor Fiona Naumann is an Associate Dean of Education, Faculty of Health, at Southern Cross University. At SCU Fiona provides both academic and strategic leadership across all Health courses, aligned to the University vision.
