In today’s educational landscape, it is critical for higher education providers to enhance opportunities for diverse learner groups to access higher education, promote engagement in their studies and the wider community, and support students to thrive: completing their programme of study, achieving their full potential and graduating with the skills and knowledge needed for future success. Realising these goals required a whole institution approach.
This resource, which forms part of Advance HE's member benefit strand of Securing Student Outcomes, showcases 11 innovations which have had an institutional impact on student access, retention, attainment, progression or graduate outcomes. The six short videos and five additional case studies present approaches taken in institutions around the globe aiming to address a particular area of challenge, the impact it has had on student experience and outcomes and advice for others wishing to replicate the approach.
