Student populations, expectations and pathways have changed significantly.
Our 2026/27 benefits will provide practical support to redesign assessment, curriculum and student support for diverse and digitally engaged students. Grounded in Advance HE’s frameworks, accreditation and recognition services, this work will help institutions embed inclusion, evidence impact, strengthen practice and align educational quality with institutional priorities.
Our targeted support will be delivered via the following initiatives.
Transformation and Efficiency in Student Support
Working in partnership with Association of Managers of Student Services in Higher Education (AMOSSHE), Jisc, Universities UK (UUK), Guild HE and institutional leaders, this project enables executive leaders to make informed, evidence‑based decisions about the design, sustainability and effectiveness of student support services. The programme provides shared frameworks, benchmarking insight and practical tools to support strategic planning, service transformation and constructive dialogue with government and sector partners.

AI and the Changing Institution
This programme helps executive teams align educational practice, student experience and institutional strategy as AI reshapes how learning and support are delivered. Combining global insight, structured engagement and applied tools, the programme strengthens leaders’ confidence to make informed decisions and lead AI adoption at scale with clear educational and student centred impact.

Disabled Student Commitment
The enhanced offer strengthens the DSC as a practical framework for responding to emerging OfS expectations by supporting clearer executive ownership, sector dialogue and more effective institutional implementation. Through this longitudinal project that will map the interaction between disability and mental health and wellbeing, it helps institutions address fragmentation mental health support provision, improve service design and deliver more consistent, inclusive and sustainable outcomes for disabled students.

Trans Inclusion on Campus
This guidance will provide legally robust, practical support to help institutions take a clear, lawful and inclusion focused approach to trans and non binary inclusion in a complex and highly scrutinised regulatory environment. Through updated modular guidance, case studies and practitioner engagement, it supports institutions to balance inclusion practice with legal duties, freedom of speech and academic freedom while maintaining trust and engagement.

Through shared reflection, collaboration and evidence‑informed case studies, Advance HE Elevate supports staff to adapt learning, assessment and student engagement, drawing on global good practice and international innovation to challenge thinking and inform the contemporary approaches that will underpin the teaching excellence of tomorrow.
