Governing and Assuring the Modern University: Advance HE Governance Effectiveness Framework (v2026)
This project supports governing bodies, Chairs and Vice‑Chancellors to evidence effective, credible governance in a high‑scrutiny environment. Engaging with key sector stakeholders, the refreshed framework, is a practical tool enabling structured self‑assessment and guidance to strengthen assurance, clarify accountability and translate governance behaviours and enablers into clear outcomes.

Further supports Pro Vice-Chancellors and Deputy Vice-Chancellors International to govern and assure quality, risk and student outcomes across complex transnational partnerships and regulatory contexts.

Supports Directors, Deans and Heads to assure the effectiveness, sustainability and value of student support provision.
