Our 2026/27 benefits will support institutions to develop clear, defensible approaches to assessment, academic integrity and curriculum, grounded in global evidence and aligned with student, staff and regulatory expectations. Working in partnership, we will support the building of digital and strategic capability needed to oversee AI confidently and use its implications to strengthen curriculum and assessment design.
Our targeted support will be delivered via the following initiatives.
AI and the Changing Institution
This is our flagship programme for Pro Vice‑Chancellors, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Registrars, Deans, Directors and senior professional services leaders responsible for digital, transformation and strategy.
It supports leaders to move from fragmented AI activity to coherent, institution‑wide approaches by aligning governance, educational practice, workforce transformation and student experience.
Combining global insight, structured engagement and applied tools, the programme strengthens confidence to make informed investment decisions, manage risk and translate institutional AI strategy into operational and academic practice. It supports leaders to maintain academic standards, redesign curriculum and assessment, and support staff and students as AI becomes embedded across teaching, learning and professional services.

During 2026-27 Advance HE will develop further research and insights
These will include on how AI is being used to enhance learning, teaching, student support and professional services. From this, we will develop practical resources to support members to maximise the opportunities arising from developments in artificial intelligence.

Advance HE Elevate
Supports practitioners and emerging leaders to respond to AI‑enabled change through the lens of the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023). By showcasing forward‑thinking, inclusive and evidence‑informed practice, Elevate showcases how staff could adapt teaching, assessment and learner support while continuing to demonstrate professional standards and educational impact in an AI‑enabled institution.
