Having previously worked at York St John University, the University of York, the University of Southampton, Imperial College London, and the University of Portsmouth, Jim has led and contributed to a range of major institutional projects focussed on enhancing the student experience and reducing administrative burden. Jim is committed to authentic and collaborative leadership in higher education and has undertaken activities such as co-presenting a podcast with a students’ union aiming to open discussion and reduce stigma around men’s mental health and co-chairing a staff LBGT network.
