At Advance HE, there is currently a wide variety of conferences and events with open calls for papers. Submissions are welcomed to present posters, oral presentations, workshops and more in areas from artificial intelligence to equality, diversity and inclusion.
As a speaker, you get the opportunity to present your work alongside other experts in your field to a group of like-minded individuals to spark conversation, inspire change and motivate others to work to improve the higher education sector. You could be part of progressing the higher education sector in terms of EDI, student engagement, co-creation and more.
Conferences and Symposia
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Conference 2027
The Advance HE EDI Conference 2027 is seeking proposals for workshops, presentations, posters and ten-minute thesis sessions that explore what works, what challenges remain and how the sector can build stronger, more equitable institutions.
The submission deadline is 30 October 2026.
Teaching and Learning Conference
Whether you’re sharing bold ideas, innovative practice, emerging research or practical solutions, we want to hear how your work is helping to shape futures, reimagine education and empower society in a changing world.
The submission deadline is 24 November 2026.
Assessment and Feedback Symposium 2027
We invite submissions that share innovative approaches, evidence of impact and critical reflection. We particularly welcome contributions from practitioners and leaders who have developed and implemented initiatives, strategies and approaches that have made a positive difference to students’ assessment experience and outcomes.
The submission deadline is 25 November 2026.
Employability Symposium 2027
We welcome proposals that address at least one of the symposium themes, exploring what it means for higher education to enable students and graduates to participate, contribute and shape the world beyond university. Submissions may include case studies, research reports and in-progress initiatives that share evidence, experience and emerging practice
The submission deadline is 7 January 2027.
Member Benefit case study submissions
We also have several opportunities for colleagues from our member institutions to submit their work to be shared with the sector via our member benefit projects. Check our list of current members to find your current institution. We apologise, but we cannot accept submissions from non-members.
