The symposium will bring together educators, academic leaders, professional services, and students to explore what really works in delivering high-quality, inclusive, and impactful education. Presenters have been asked to draw upon relevant regulatory and pedagogic frameworks to spotlight effective practice and real-world impact in the core areas of teaching, learning, support, and successful outcomes.
This interactive event will feature presentations and facilitated discussions designed to share practice, explore ideas, and co-develop future-facing approaches to educational excellence. Whether the projects are local, large-scale, or still evolving, the insights could inspire others across the sector. Contributions will:
- Showcase emerging trends and innovations in learning and teaching.
- Share strategic initiatives and projects that are improving student outcomes.
- Reflect on challenges, learning, and impact from the work you’ve led.
- Are co-created with students or developed through cross-institutional collaboration.

Call for papers
We invite colleagues from across higher education to submit proposals for the forthcoming symposium, focused on advancing high-quality, inclusive and impactful education.
The event will bring together educators, third-space professionals, academic leaders, professional services colleagues and students to share practice, explore ideas and co-develop future-facing approaches that enhance learning, belonging and student outcomes. Contributions should draw on relevant regulatory and pedagogic frameworks and demonstrate evidence of impact across teaching, learning, support and success.
Through the themes outlined below, the symposium will highlight innovation, strategic development and collaborative approaches that are shaping the student experience. We welcome submissions at all stage, from emerging practice to institution-wide initiatives, particularly those that offer critical reflection and transferable insight.
Submissions may address (but are not limited to) the following themes:
a. Using data and insight to advance student success
b. Innovative models of academic and personal support
c. Staff development (CPD) for consistent, excellent teaching
d. Student partnership and co-creation in enhancement and development
