Freelance higher education professional
Dr Alina Congreve is a freelance higher education professional, working for a number of organisations including Wellcome Trust, Vitae, CIEEM and Advance HE. From 2003-2016 Alina held lectureships and principal lectureships in sustainability at LSE, Reading and Hertfordshire. From 2016-19 she led Climate KICs higher education programmes in the UK and Ireland. In a recent project for Advance HE collaborating with Dr Iain Cross, she wrote: Sustainable institutions: An evidence-informed review of good practice. She has also recently completed research for CIEEM about nature-based green jobs, which is informing new and existing qualifications. She has an MSc in Conservation from UCL and a PhD in Geography from Kings’ College London.
