We help higher education organisations be the best they can be, by unlocking the potential of their people. We are from the sector, not for profit and our work is driven by our belief in the transformative power of higher education for people, places and society.
Many international member institutions engage with our Fellowship programme to recognise their teaching and learning support staff. They have seen improvements in student retention, recruitment, satisfaction, and international rankings through their work with us. Advance HE Members get access to a 50% discount on direct fellowship applications, and have the option to add on Teaching and Learning Accreditation. Download the brochure to find out more.

Fellowship and Accreditation
Advance HE is the custodian of the Professional Standards Framework, the framework with which we evaluate Fellowship applications. The Professional Standards Framework (PSF) for teaching and supporting learning in higher education has global recognition for raising the profile of teaching and learning in higher education.
More than 15,000 Fellows are based outside the UK, and 28 institutions in 12 countries beyond the UK have Advance HE accredited programmes. This demonstrates the growing impact the globally-recognised professional recognition scheme is having on institutions worldwide.
What is the impact of promoting Fellowship within your institution?
- an improved profile of teaching and learning across the institution
- encouragement of collaboration across faculties and between institutions
