Exploring Theory of Change using ChangeBusters

Support your staff to understand Theory of Change with a ChangeBusters workshop delivered at your institution.

A workshop to inspire change

The ChangeBusters workshop aims to support those tasked with building evaluation literacy in HE organisations. It provides an overview of how Theory of Change might be used in access, success and progression spaces of the student lifecycle.

In this workshop delivered to a selected group within your institution, Advance HE facilitate playing the ChangeBusters game to model how it could be used. The ChangeBusters game supports users to construct a ‘Theory of Change’ based on evidence from a recent Advance HE literature review on student outcomes. This resource uses game-based learning to develop evaluation literacy. By playing the game, users will understand the stages of a Theory of Change, build confidence, explore evaluative questions, and extend learning through application to their own contexts. The goal is better intervention design and evaluation which in turn should lead to better student outcomes.

If you are interested in attending this workshop as an individual, the next date is 27 September 2023, find out more here.

The game aims to support users to understand the stages of a Theory of Change, build confidence, explore evaluative questions, and extend learning through application to their own context. The goal is better intervention design and evaluation which in turn should lead to better student outcomes.
