Dr Alex Forsythe has been an educator and psychologist since 2003 and among her various accomplishments, she is Senior Lecturer at University of Liverpool, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Head of Professional Certification for the Association of Business Psychology.
Job Title:Senior Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry

After a relatively brief period of time working in dental practice Dr James Field found himself being drawn back to the university environment looking for opportunities to tutor, mentor, deliver small group teaching, and occasionally, speak at larger events. It became clear that althought he wasn t sure about where he wanted to be, he knew he wanted to teach.

Year: 2018
Sandra Denicke-Polcher is an architect and Assistant Dean (Education) at the Royal College of Art. Her research addresses the complex relationship between architectural practice and education. In 2017, she was awarded the University Teaching Fellowship by London Metropolitan University for her outstanding, highly innovative and impactful contribution to learning and the learning development within the field of architecture.
Job Title:Reader in Acoustics
Institution: London South Bank University
Year: 2018
In 1989 Stephen was Research Assistant at South Bank Polytechnic working with the Soviet Academy of Science and the Royal Society on collaborative multi-disciplinary acoustics projects. As a Research Fellow he worked on computer simulations of auditoria to improve the acoustics of concert hall acoustics. In 1994 he started teaching at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at Southampton.

Dr Russell Crawford's journey as a professional teacher started in 2006 when he delivered his first traditional lecture and immediately acquired the 'teaching bug'. The immense personal satisfaction he derives from teaching led him to seek out a position at Keele University in 2008. As a creative person, he felt he had found a place where he could innovate and explore impactful ways to develop medical students learning.

Andrea Cameron is the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences and the Intellectual Lead for Teaching and Learning. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has progressed a number of student experience enhancement issues in the various posts she has held since joining Abertay in 2003.

Patrick Callaghan is Professor of Mental Health Science and Dean of the School of Applied Sciences at London South Bank University. A Mental Health Nurse, Chartered Health Psychologist, Chartered Health Scientist and Principal Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, Professor Callaghan has worked in mental health for 30 years.

Year: 2018
Professor Gerry Gormley is a clinical academic at Queens University Belfast (QUB). He balances his time between being a General Practitioner and working in the medical school at Queens. He began his academic career as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in 2003. Since then, he has strived for excellence in his teaching and having a positive impact on his students.
Job Title:Principal Lecturer: Applied and Community Theatre
Institution: The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama
Year: 2018
Dr Selina Busby is an academic and theatre practitioner who makes performances with community groups. At Central, she is a Principal Lecturer in Applied Theatre, teaching on both the BA Drama, Applied Theatre and Education and the MA Applied Theatre courses.
Job Title:Mentoring Consultant
Institution: University of Sheffield
Year: 2018
Dr Kay Guccione works in the Researcher Development Team at the University of Sheffield, as a Mentoring Consultant. She designs large scale programmes (for Sheffield and beyond, through her consultancy work), partnering researchers and academic staff with mentors who support them to reflect and develop through critical dialogue.

Dr Lezley-Anne Hanna began her academic career at Queen's University Belfast, School of Pharmacy in 2004 after gaining community pharmacy experience working as a pharmacist for a multinational company. Teaching Pharmacy Practice largely through dynamic and contemporary learning approaches and reflection, she endeavours to inspire future pharmacists to be passionate about their profession, equipped with the necessary attributes to be safe and effective healthcare practitioners.

Dr Regina Pauli is a Principal Teaching Fellow in Psychology at the University of Roehampton, where she has worked for more than 20 years. She works with her students to create engaging learning, teaching and assessment activities based on principles of students-as-partners.
