Sheena Warman's role at the University of Bristol, combining clinical veterinary work and teaching, gives her the opportunity to support students, clinicians and educators in the veterinary school and further afield. Her research in feedback and reflective practice have helped her develop novel strategies for both student teaching and staff development.

Dr Simon Jones has enjoyed a successful international career as a violinist spanning over thirty years. His teaching practice stems naturally from his performance work, and focuses on facilitating exposure to the broadest possible learning experience for his students, developing the wide range of skills necessary for success in todays music industry.

Dr Simon Thompson is Head of Education at the University of Sussex and leads a growing department of teaching and research faculty who promote the learning of over 1000 students. Formerly Director of Initial Teacher Education and leader of the History PGCE, Simon still maintains a personal teaching portfolio including contributions to foundation year modules, undergraduates, postgraduates, professional learning communities and doctoral students

Dr Stephen Rutherford is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director of Undergraduate Education at the School of Biosciences Cardiff University; a large School with a diverse portfolio. He joined Cardiff in 2005 after postdoctoral research at University of Oxford and in the USA. He gained an MA(Ed) in 2009 and is currently studying for an Ed.D.

After completing her PhD in 1992 Dr Susanne Voelkel spent eight years doing research in the area of animal physiology in Dusseldorf and Berlin, Germany.

Professor Tansy Jessop began her career as a History and Latin secondary teacher in apartheid South Africa. She wanted to make a difference through her teaching, so she taught an alternative perspective on South African history. Students described Tansy as "an inspirational History teacher", having "a massive, positive influence ...you opened my eyes to the reality of SA at that time".

Dr Wall has been involved in transformational management learning and development for almost two decades, and has led policy and organisational development projects in higher education to introduce innovative forms of flexible, workplace, and high-impact higher education.

Vikki Burns is a Reader in Science Education from the University of Birmingham. She specialises in civic engagement  and innovative assessment, and researches how we can support students to develop the skills and motivation they need to be effective citizens.

Dr Jess Power received her BSc from De Montfort University, MA from Nottingham Trent whilst employed in the apparel sector, and PhD in Technical Textiles from UMIST. She joined the University of Huddersfield in 2012 as Director of T&L in the School of Art, Design and Architecture and currently holds the title of Reader in Textiles and Apparel.

Jennifer is Deputy Director of the Centre for Transformative Practice in Learning and Teaching at Birkbeck, University of London. Her background is in Latin American and Gender Studies.

Dr Jennie Winter began her career as a lecturer in Human Geography before becoming an Educational Developer in 2010. She is now an Associate Professor in Academic Development at the University of Plymouth.

Jason Tucker is a Reader in Law and Deputy Director of the Centre for Professional Legal Studies (CPLS) at the School of Law and Politics. Jason worked as a solicitor in private practice, and joined CPLS to teach on the vocational courses for aspiring solicitors and barristers.
