Details of Activity

The department highlighted a number of actions put in place in order to provide accessible information for new staff (all levels) at the university, particularly on work/life balance and caring responsibilities. Information on work/life balance was included in inductions for new staff at the university from April 2013. Staff were made aware that this information was also attainable online, through the inclusion of a link to the university’s 'Living in Oxford' webpage.

Outcomes

An improvement in accessibility of information was demonstrated in a staff survey which saw a 16% rise in those who saw the university’s website as a first port of call for information (43% in 2012 and 69% in 2013).
