The institution sought to target development opportunities and revised their appraisal and promotion processes. Specifically, this revised process included a greater emphasis on career development, holding promotion workshops (including a BAME promotion session), sponsoring BAME staff on the STELLAR HE programme, and the implementation of Equality Impact Assessments. Consequently, BAME representation on decision-making Committees and among School Heads has increased.
