Project Title: AI for enabling reflective thinking self-evaluation student reports for the student portfolio & stakeholders.
The project is: About to start
Project Summary:
The need for the students’ reflective thinking, self-evaluation report before the graduation gives sufficient insight into the skills deficit gap identification.
This is an important part of the learning designer's job even if their involvement is at micro level of curriculum delivery or at a macro-level of program management. The students’ perception about the employability skills and who in their opinion is primarily responsible for helping them to acquire it is clear for around half of the time.
If a student’s reflective report empowers them as a conversation with the Chatbot and gives some insights about stakeholder’s expectations or curriculum design link using a GAI output, then this could be a plan of action to generate themes for the results analysis and review cycle inputs of the Quality Assurance. The alignment of the graduate attributes to the CIHE competencies and Future Fit study could enhance insights for best practices in higher education.
Impact: Due to the support of GAI, the reflective reports of student self-evaluation can become more insightful, with sufficient dimensions covered for curriculum reviews and stakeholder perspectives
Audience: Learning Designers, Program Manager, Students, Industry stakeholders, policy makers to some extent.
