To adopt or not to adopt: a case study of team-based learning and the diffusion of innovation model

A presentation from the HEA Annual Conference 2012.

This session uncovers why positive evidence of an innovation is necessary but not sufficient for wider adoption to mainstream practice. Applied to team-based learning adoption decisions and framed by the diffusion of innovation model we propose action around three organisational domains to address the apparent chasm particularly around cultural compatibility.
