STACK (System for Teaching and Assessment using a Computer algebra Kernel) is online assessment software for Mathematics Science and Computer Science. STACK generates sophisticated formative and summative assessments and accepts algebraic answers. With more than fifteen years of research and development at multiple sites STACK is widely used in many languages. We will demonstrate what makes STACK distinctive valuable to students and describe how its development has been facilitated by international collaboration. STACK was a winner of the 2017 HEA Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence. We will be describing how this award is enabling us to help others adopt the system.
