Authentic Assessment in Crime Investigation Management Modules on Applied Criminology Degrees

THis is the final report from a CSAP-funded development project.

The project was based on collaboration between two universities (Gloucestershire and Southampton Solent). Both institutions share a strong commitment to the design and delivery of criminology courses that place a premium on acquisition of skills and attributes for lifelong personal and professional development.

This project aimed to develop pilot and evaluate a set of resources supporting and heightening the 'realism' of a case study centred on a 'failing' fictional police force (Southshire Constabulary).
