Automatically assessing free-form diagrams in e-assessment systems

STEM subjects use diagrams to capture and communicate ideas. Current e-assessment systems have limited support for marking student-drawn diagrams. The presentation will describe and demonstrate our approach to automatically marking a class of diagrams within Moodle. It will also describe the support offered for both question construction and diagram specification.
