The briefings contain a balance of scientific and ethical input plus case studies and up to date examples of ethics news items. This first issue produced in 2004 looks generally at reasons to include ethics provision in bioscience courses discusses how much philosophy will be needed and concludes with an outline of one way in which the topic could be introduced.
