Bioethics Briefing: Issues at the End of Life

This is one of a number of Bioethics briefings which are intended to help teach various ethical topics.

The briefings contain a balance of scientific and ethical input plus case studies and up to date examples of ethics news items. This briefing produced in 2006 focuses on the issues at the end of life and covers euthanasia and related issues as well as withholding or withdrawing treatment.
