Building a bright future: ‘Remote’ learning for telesolutions in practice - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This presentation reports on the design development and implementation of a remotely delivered workshop (the facilitator based in Blackpool) through a web conferencing platform to a group of (pre-registration) MSc Physiotherapy students (Northumbria University) in relation to leading and developing services in the delivery of ‘remote’ physiotherapy – telesolutions. Presentation aims: 1.Explore the ‘why’ of telesolutions and service delivery using technology 2.Understand the personal context of being a healthcare professional in a digital world 3.Appreciate the historical context of change and innovation to be delivered via WebEx as a live demonstration of the approach in real time.
