This report makes a series of attempts at appropriate methodologies for producing data on the movement of performers for a range of purposes:
- To discover if representations of the body produced with motion capture data may be successfully used as a quantitative complement or counterbalance to qualitative feedback in the teaching situation;
- To seek out motion capture procedures that may be used as approaches to 'self-feedback' by performers on their own movement;
- To seek novel procedures for interdisciplinary collaboration in the investigation and exploration of movement and performance themes such as rhythm coordination and synchronicity gesture 'neutrality' the psychological present and bodily self-awareness.
