Centres of Excellent Quality in Higher Education- A New Part of the Swedish National Quality Evaluation System

In January 2007 universities and university colleges were invited to nominate departments programmes or other teaching units to be recognised as centres of excellent quality by The Swedish National Agency for Higher Education. The decision to award five units was based on the assessment made by an international review panel.
