Circling the Boxes and Squaring the Circles: The challenges of using student surveys to enhance provision

A presentation from the Surveys for Enhancement Conference 2013.

The presentation focuses on the use of the Nominal Group Technique (NGT) to gain feedback from students about their learning experiences. Set against the context of an increasing use of student evaluation questionnaire approaches the presentation contends that NGT not only provides an extremely useful vehicle for engaging and promoting active dialogue with students but also serves as an important mechanism for enhancement.
