An interactive session enabling participants to experience a simulated coroner’s court which has been embedded into undergraduate mental health nursing program. Participants will be required to improvise ascribed roles. Following the session participants will- 1.gain insight into the use of drama and improvised role play in undergraduate nursing education 2.consider the integration of critical thinking and decision making during improvisation 3.consider how drama and role play impact on the student's’ emotional and reflective learning and appreciation of the situation 4.consider the use of drama for developing students’ enhanced appreciation of policy and process i.e. record keeping risk assessment
