Developing a better understanding of classroom practices through the elucidation of teaching puzzles

A presentation from the Higher Education Academy Annual Conference 22-23 June 2010.

Exploratory Practice is a form of practitioner research. Using its principles as a research background this presentation describes an innovative approach to a continuing professional development programme which aims to guide a group of experienced university teachers towards developing a better understanding of their classroom practices in order to enhance the quality of their lives and that of their students in the classroom.
