This workshop presents an approach to devising and using collaboratively generated indicators to support learning and teaching innovation that complements NSS processes. Within the context of innovation the approach involves collaboratively defining what quality means at a faculty level and then using the devised indicators in a student survey triangulated with feedback from open questions staff focus group feedback and (ultimately) NSS data. With the aid of examples of the student experience data gathered workshop participants will be able to explore whether similar data gathering processes could be adopted in their own programme or institutional setting to enhance quality.
