The similarity between Bahrain’s National Higher Education Strategy and the Teaching Excellence Framework in regards to employability of graduates sparked the idea for exploring similarities in the way embedding employability is planned and executed. To this end the authors use the case of Royal University for women as an example of a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Bahrain that has developed a framework in this regard and has taken major steps in ensuring employability. This paper will discuss the challenges faced and the Critical Success Factors for embedding employability in a Higher Education Institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
