During summer 2011 as part of a HE STEM managed project the University of Exeter employed ten mathematics undergraduates to undertake a review of the curriculum focussing particularly on the development and assessment of employability skills. One outcome of this process was the creation of a student-designed 3rd-year group project module which ran for the first time in autumn 2011.
