Embedding a university teaching recognition scheme within a faculty education strategy

This case study describes an initiative undertaked at the University of Liverpool as part of the HEA's Recognising Teaching Excellence Change Programme.

The aim of this project was to develop an action plan designed to establish a culture within the faculty (and across the institution) that promotes an appropriate balance between teaching and research and effectively recognises and rewards teaching within the institution.
