Emergent Practices In Entrepreneurship Education For Creatives UCLAN Case Study

The Emergent Practices In Entrepreneurship Education For Creatives pedagogic research project is a study of creative enterprise education with the aim of identifying best practice and the most effective entrepreneurship education for Art and Design students. At the core of this research was the desire to support and enhance Higher Education Institutions in meeting the Government agenda to increase collaboration between business and academia in the creative sector.

Eleven case studies were created as part of the project of which this resource is one. This case study details two pilot projects HEADSPACE and Creative Warriors carried out by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). HEADSPACE aims to offer a virtual creative cluster business support channel built to service the Creative Industries in the form of an innovative portal website which will offer business support virtually to creative Entrepreneurs in Lancashire. Creative Warriors is a learning tool that provides learning material and visibility of case studies from people who have already started creative businesses.
