Engaging established staff with UKPSF SD3

Progress has been slow in engaging established staff working towards or at UKPSF Standard Descriptor 3 (Thomas 2009). The paper reports on an action research project at a new university which explored the potential of a CPD portfolio approach to an SD3 award aligned to review and promotion practices.
