Enhancing fieldwork learning

Fieldwork is an essential form of learning in many geoscience and bioscience subjects; however fieldwork can be expensive and time-consuming.

The Enhancing Fieldwork Learning project evaluated the use of web 2.0 technologies to create personal and group learning environments helping ensure students were fully prepared and make full use of their fieldwork experience.

The collaboration between the Higher Education Academy and key providers of field education including the Field Studies Council brought together substantial expertise in the use of technology in geoscience and bioscience education.

This project was led by University of Chester.
