This case study is based upon the process of developing a masters level programme aimed at the international student and the evaluation of its first run-through. Research and academic experience into international student learning supported the decision to move away from the traditional design towards a more innovative themed curriculum structure the better to meet the needs of a diverse cultural group. Evaluation at completion of the inaugural programme indicated successful results from the both students' and the course team's point of view.
