The experiences of Chinese students entering top-up courses

Northampton Business School (University of Northampton) presentation delivered at the HEA Annual Conference in June 2010.

Transnational education is growing rapidly for example HND programmes in China which prepare students for UK top-up degrees. This research compared the experiences of transnational HND students with others who had studied within the Chinese system. The findings have implications for university support systems before and during such top-up courses.
