The W3C MathML software list

The World Wide Web Consortium maintain a list of software that uses MathML [1]. This is not a definitive list rather it is intended “to show the large number and diversity of software supporting MathML”. The list includes open source free and commercial software. Currently there are around 100 entries listed normally with a short description screenshot and a link to a website to find out more. Entries can be viewed by name or by category. The categories are:

  • Browsers
  • Browser plugins scripts and extensions
  • Editors
  • Scientific Computation
  • Composition and Rendering Engines
  • Converters
  • Authoring Systems
  • Stylesheets to/from MathML
  • DTDs and Schemas using MathML
  • Components and SDKs
  • Research Projects
  • Accessibility
