The paper discusses the impact of writing workshops on FE practitioners with responsibility for teaching/supporting HE in FE Colleges. The purpose of the workshops was to provide a setting where a community of practice could develop to support writing about professional development and engagement with scholarly approaches to teaching. Edited writing was published by ESCalate and the Plymouth-based CETL for Higher Education Learning Partnerships.
