This presentation focuses on the implementation and development of a flipped learning model into an undergraduate law module at the University of Sheffield. The session starts with a brief overview of what the flipped learning mode of teaching involves before focusing on the learning techniques and activities implemented to help engage and guide students through flipped learning in order to ensure deep student centred learning and to maintain enthusiasm and engagement in the flipped learning mode of teaching. The presentation also highlights some of the challenges and benefits of adopting particular learning activities and reflects on feedback from both staff and students involved in the module. The reflection from staff has been developed by two years of running the module using flipped learning techniques and therefore the session includes how the module has been analysed and developed to address some of the challenges encountered.
