Many institutions are not giving sufficient attention to the needs of a wider profile of students when providing accommodation and social space. This guidance has been developed to support the provision of a positive, safe, accessible, welcoming environment for all students, whatever their age, disability, race, religion and belief, gender or sexual orientation.
