Intermediate Statistics for Dummies by Deborah Rumsey

We are told that Intermediate Statistics “picks up where Statistics for Dummies leaves off and keeps you moving along the road of statistical ideas and techniques in a positive step–by–step way. The focus is on building and testing models.” The book is designed for students who have had some sort of introductory statistics course do not have A level maths but have ideally met Minitab. It provides chapters on regression: multiple non-linear and logistic; ANOVA Chi-Squared tests and non parametric tests. In short in my view the whole book is worth its money (£13.99) and would be almost worth it for the first chapter alone.
