SUBJECT CENTRE LEGACY RESOURCE This document seeks to both share practice that is available
in the literature and to highlight issues considered important when designing and
offering an undergraduate dissertation module. This guide focuses upon three key areas: clarifying and communicating the
dissertation's role in the curriculum; matching the supervisor to student and providing
the supervision; and assessing the dissertation.
