Learning teaching and assessment strategies to support students with Asperger syndrome

Anglia Ruskin presentation delivered at the HEA Annual Conference June 2010.

 A record number of students with Asperger syndrome (AS) have entered the Department of Computing and Technology at Anglia Ruskin University. A case study has driven an investigation into learning teaching and assessment strategies using Web 2.0 technology to support AS students initially through the undergraduate dissertation proposal. The presentation covers the characteristics of students with Asperger's syndrome and proposes methods of teaching support for these students.
