More to DISCUSS

The DISCUSS project at Coventry University aims to deliver online interactive spreadsheet-based learning resources in elementary statistics. It is a sequel to the earlier DISCUS (Discovering Important Statistical Concepts Using Spreadsheets) materials that remain widely used in schools and colleges. The background and rationale for DISCUSS have been published elsewhere. The purpose of this short article is to report on recent additions to the DISCUSS material produced by Barrie Baker Sidney Tyrrell and myself with the aid of a small grant from the Maths Stats & OR Network. James Nicholson of Queens University Belfast also contributed to the development of some of these materials.
