National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics

I am pleased to be able to write after what seems a long period of negotiations that the proposed National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) is at last now going to happen although major activity will not start until well into next year with the national launch planned for 27th June. The contract has been awarded to the private Educational company Tribal working with the Centre for Innovation in Mathematics Teaching at Plymouth University.
