This paper provides the results of a project within the department of Nursing. Utilising the findings of a PhD research study the aim of the project was to influence the language used across the ethos of working that focussed on unconscious bias and ethnocentricity. This paper reports on the outcome of the project and focus groups that were carried out after the event.
