Potential (un)realised: Is self-regulation the differentiator between our students and what can we do about it? - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

After describing our rationale and long-term vision the aim of this presentation is to stimulate discussion through which we can learn from fellow attendees and (potentially) modify the next steps of our ambitious teaching and learning project. We hope to achieve this by sharing insight from the development and initial results of a large intervention which synthesises and channels the complementary theories of neuroplasticity and fixed versus growth mindsets into educational practice.
