Professional Skills module

This case study details the implementation and outcomes of Professional Skills a core module for nearly all first year BSc Computing students at the University of Wales Newport which was introduced in 2004. The module aims to develop and enhance the employability of students by providing them with the opportunity and support for managing their academic personal development and career planning and developing the range of transferable skills so valued by employers and essential for academic and professional success.
