Storytelling for teaching: Findings from a meta-ethnography - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

Background: Storytelling for teaching is a concept widely referred to and believed to be ‘understood’ within educational literature however definitive description of how why and when it ‘works’ in teaching practice remains elusive.

Aims and approach: To create a teaching practice tool by integrating previous literature to devise a new collective theoretical approach via meta-ethnography.

Impact: A storytelling for teaching tool will be realised which has local importance. It is hoped that it will be integrated into practice (next stage of the project)
